      Előre is köszönöm a segítséget!
      Üdvözlettel:

I am wanting to try and organise a concert for my choir of Durham University in England’s best singers to sing in the Jak Chapel this summer at some point between 22 and 29th July 2014. How do I go about organising this?

Dear Tom, thank you for contacting Vajdahunyad Castle regarding a potential Durham University choir concert in the Jak Chapel, Budapest. The telephone of the priest of the Jak Chapel is 00-36-1-251-1359 (Mon – Wed – Fri 10- 13 and 16-18). The chapel, as all Catholic chapels and churches in Hungary, will only allow religious songs to be performed on its premises (classical music and religious music). The Jak Church in Jak village though (the original church and chapel whose replica is in Vajdahunyad Castle) is in western Hungary, outside Budapest, and the phone number for that chapel or rather church is +36 94/356-014.

    Hello,

Really looking forward to visiting Budapest over Easter, but I just wanted to confirm whether the castle was open as normal on Good Friday/Easter Sunday?

    Best,

    Adam

      Dear Adam,
yes, from 10 am to 5 pm.
And also, the Vajdahunyad Castle courtyard is always open, and always worth a visit, as is the City Park, but if you want to see the castle from the inside, it is usually open from Tuesday to Sunday (10 am – 4 pm), and on special holidays from 10 am to 5pm

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to know whether it would be possible to organise a wedding in the premises of the castle and who should I contact to organise a visit and discuss all the details.

    Thanks.
